Kamakura Autumn Colours Report

In my quest to take as many Autumn colour pictures as possible, I ventured out to Kamakura using the Kamakura Free Pass.  If you like to see beautiful golden and red leaves and want to get out of Tokyo for a day, Kamakura is the place to go!

You will see these bridges as you approach Hachiman shrine.

Walking up to Hachiman shrine.

We were lucky enough to see a traditional Japanese wedding.  Check out the woman’s hat!

The trees around Hachiman shrine complex were ready for their close-ups!

The entrance to Hase-dera Temple.

The Great Buddha is a great place to visit any time of the year, but during the Autumn colours its especially nice.

Don’t ask me to translate the characters on the stone!
